Presentation

20 February 2009:
Today, all of us in the class are supposed to make presentation about the project that we all have made. As I remember, my group is the last that make the presentation on that day. We all are given at least five minutes to talk about the project for each person. On my observation, the best presenter today is Hisyam. Hisyam can explain his presentation clearly. He can use the eye contact with his audience well. His confidence I think is high so he can talk without any problems to his audiences. His voice is not very loud but it is enough to make sure all of his audiences can hear what he wants to talk about. His slideshow also nice like movie he did where it is so attractive with the creative designs on the background. The bad presenter I think is me. I think my voice is not loud. The audience cannot hear my voice clearly. But, if I use the microphone I think this problem can be solved. I am also did not make good preparation to this presentation. So, I cannot explain the contents so long and clearly. I am also lack of confidence. That is the big problem I think. So, in the next time I have to gain my confidence so that I can do the presentation better than ever.
19 February 2009:
Today we all have finished our projects. This time we all have to submit our project in the form of VCD. In the class, our lecturer, Madam Jumani showed us all the projects that we all made which is Window Movie Maker project. About this project, we are supposed to find the gadget and story about the differences of it in the past time and in this time. Based on my observation, the best window movie maker is Hisyam and Khusairi’s project. I can see the way they made is the best because I saw the background , the contents, the musics, the pictures they have chosed are match with each other. Their project is about the revolution of F1. The way of window movie maker presentation is also very good. I mean here the way of pictures presented, the way of sentences presented is so wonderful and skilled. I am so impress about it. The bad window movie maker I think is ours which is my project with a friend. Honestly, I say like that because my friend and I make the Window movie maker so simple. We only put pictures, put musics without make anything wonderful that can impress our audience to watch ours. This all because we did it lately because we are so busy of assignment and we have to hurry up. But there are something that we can proud about our project that is joke in the last movie. The cartoon in the last movie is so funny. I think that can get attention from our audiences. That is from my friend's idea and he find on himself. He likes joke. This is my first project. I think I did not give cooperation well to this project and did not do the movie nicely. I think I should make it well and better in the next time project and I will make sure it.

Job After Graduate

I will explain about mechanical engineering job because this job is relevant for my course. For example I choosed Juthye Hydraulic Solutions Sdn. Bhd company. There are many requirements to apply this job. It needs diploma in mechanical engineering. I think it will easy for me to be accepted to work with this company because my study level in the future is degree. Besides, I must have the ability to understand schematic design and CAD drawings.So, I must be seriously study about schematic design and CAD drawing start from now. If I can communicate in three or more languages, this would be an advantage for me. As a fresh graduate I am welcomed to apply this job. Moreover, I must possess pleasant personality. Transport must be possessed and I must have willing to travel. The initiative to learn is required. Last, I must have self-motivated, confident, possess good interactive skills and able to work indepently. All of that is what I need to be considered to make sure that I will get the job.

Main Part2 of Egg & Muffin Toaster..

TOAST(major part)



A toaster uses infrared radiation to heat a piece of bread. When we put our bread in and see the coils glow red, the coils are producing infrared radiation. The radiation gently dries and chars the surface of the bread. The most common way for a toaster to create the infrared radiation is to use nichrome wire wrapped back and forth across a mica sheet like this.

Nichrome wire has a fairly high electrical resistance compared to something like copper wire, so even a short length of it has enough resistance to get quite hot. The nichrome alloy does not oxidize when heated. Iron wire would rust very quckly at the temperatures seen in a toaster. When we use it, a spring-loaded tray pops the toast out. This keeps us from having to turn the toaster upside down.

SPRING-LOADED TRAY(minor part)



Two mica/nichrome sheets line either side of the slot. A metal holder rises up and down in the slot to raise and lower the bread. Many toasters include a pair of grates on either side of the slot. The grates press againts the bread and center it. Two metal springs get pushed when the holder nears the bottom of the slot, and they pull the grates inward. The holders in each slot are connected to the handle that you depress to lower the bread into the toaster, as shown below:

Summary Of Gadget Funtion....

Removing the winding knobs and the back of the clock reveals the inside of the clock. By removing the stand, alarm bells, hands, face and mounting ring, we end up with the clock mechanism itself. This clock (like most table clocks and wrist watches) uses an oscillating wheel in place of a pendulum. The wheel and its spring are at the bottom. The clock`s main spring is on the upper right. The spring on the left is for the alarm, which has its own gear train and escapement. The hands go on the concentric shafts in the center. All the different gears fit together. The gears will delivering power to oscillating wheel in the foreground. There are four gears between the main spring and the escapement wheel. The fourth gear`s shaft drives the second hand. There is the escapement wheel, the anchor and the oscillating wheel and spring. There are four gears for the hour hand, minute hand and the alarm hand. There are two gears for the alarm hammer, one of which doubles as an escapement wheel.
